When making a transaction I see the error message "The current chain ## doesn't supported, expected 2020". What do I do?

Surprisingly enough, that is a real error message and it means that you are trying to make a transaction on the wrong chain.

For example, a common version of this error would be:

"The current chain 56 doesn't supported, expected 2020"

This means you are currently trying to send on the Binance (BNB) Smart Chain, not the Ronin Mainnet.

  • ID 56 = BNB Smart Chain

  • ID 2020 = Ronin Mainnet

The solution to this is quite simple, go to your wallet and change your network to the Ronin network.
