Troubleshooting Login Issues
Updated over 4 months ago

If you are experiencing login issues, please go through these steps first.

Step 1 - Check your error message

  • If you see this message, then it most likely means that your account has been banned.

In this case, please contact the support directly, making sure to provide your wallet address, and if you know it, your player ID.

  • If you see this message, then the good news is that you have not been banned.

In this case, your login process was interrupted due to an issue with your internet connection. In this situation please try the following:

  • Check other games / other websites and make sure that they load fine.

    • If they do not, it likely means that you are experiencing problems with your internet connection, so you need to contact your ISP (internet service provider).

  • If you are on a WiFi or mobile connection, ensure your signal strength is good.

    • 1-2 bars, even if stable, result in a lower bandwidth. Mobile games (Wild Forest included) require a minimum amount of data to be transferred between your device and the servers to stay synchronized. 1-2 bars may not be enough to sustain this, resulting in you being unable to connect.

      • Additionally, low bars can result in increased ping (latency), packet loss, and on some devices, the prioritization of other data, especially if your network is congested. This means that, though the game may run fine, it may stop working later on if more people connect over the same network.

  • If you are connected via an Ethernet cable try to make sure that the cable is not damaged in any place.

    • [Though unlikely, this has happened once] If you are using an Ethernet cable, please make sure that the cable is at least Cat5. Anything higher (for example Cat5e, Cat6, etc) is perfectly fine.

    • If for any reason you are using a Cat4 cable, then you won't be able to connect to the game.

  • Run an internet speed test and make sure that you are getting at least:

    • Download Speed: 3 Mbps, recommended 5 Mbps or more.

    • Ping: 50-100 ms is playable, however with ping, lower is better. Anything above 100ms may cause problems with the connection.

If after running through these points you did not find any issues that could explain the problem, or if you were unable to fix the login problems, move to the next step.

Step 2 - Basic Clean Up

For PC

  • Reinstall the game.
Make sure to fully uninstall Wild Forest, then re-install it.

For Android

  • Go to Settings and find the "Apps" option.

    • From there, find the option that shows you a list of all apps installed on your device. For some, it may be called "Manage Apps".

  • Find "Wild Forest" and clear the data.

    • Depending on your device where you find this option and what it is called may be different. For example, devices that run on MIUI will need to tap on "Storage" and then "Clear Data" located at the bottom of the screen.

    • Make sure to use the "Clear all data" option.

  • If this does not work, try to fully uninstall and then re-install the game.

For iOS

  • Offload the App, and then return it.

    • Go to Settings -> General -> iPhone storage (or iPad if you have that).

    • Scroll down to find Wild Forest

    • Tap on Wild Forest, then select Offload App.

    • Once the process has finished, reinstall the app by going to the home screen and opening the app again.

  • If the above does not help, please uninstall the game, fully restart your device, and then reinstall the game.

If at this stage, the login problems still persist, then please contact support directly, making sure to let them know your wallet address, and if you know, what your player ID is.
